There are three easy steps all consumers can take:

Recycle whatever you can – we’ll make as much of our product ranges recyclable as possible, if you can then do the final bit to recycle it. Teamwork!
Research and choose sustainable brands – vote with your feet and your wallet, and choose sustainable businesses and products.

Sourcing responsible and sustainable ingredients for our products

From sustainable fish stocks and rebuilding coral reefs to working with our suppliers and farmers in both preventing deforestation and addressing human rights issues.

Support biodiversity and sustainable fishing – with 74% of all fish sourced sustainably, rising to 83% with our Sheba products
Working since 2011 on coral reef ecosystem restoration (MARRS- Mars Assisted Reef Restoration System) resulting in new coral coverage exceeding 50% in less than 2 years
Defending against deforestation through our beef and paper sourcing, traceable to country of origin – ensuring that 84% of our paper and pulp is from certified or verified recycled sources
Developing alternative protein sources, such as with Royal Canin which will be sourcing 34,000 tons of protein from alternative sources by the end of this year
